You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to, so that, when they turn their backs on you, you’ll get the chance to put the knife in.

In Pink Floyd’s earlier days, they tended to play works-in-progress during live shows, before they were released as part of an album. Dogs was known then as You Got To Be Crazy. It is very likely that they played it under that title in ’76.

I think it may be just me, but i haven’t heard another song where david harmonizes the guitar like this, i think he does it on “On an Island” but that doesnt count becuase its a solo album :P

mmmm, I was going to say something, and realized that it wouldn’t make a difference. Enjoy this beautiful album, ’cause soon you will all be sand. Ha!

Pink Floyd wrote Dogs and Sheep in 75 if im not mistaken as Raving and Drooling and You got to be crazy. They changed lyrics and music but those were the original editions of Dogs and Sheep.

I saw this tour in Boston, June, 1976. I will be 50 this summer and to this day have not seen or heard anything that comes remotely close to that 3-1/2 hour show.
