ive never really used fluval equipment for the biggest reason, its just toooo expensive. ive always used aqua-tech or tetra products because they are reasonably priced and seem to do a great job and last forever. but fluval might work better i dont really know

@RydzaKiut You need a 6500k also known as full spectrum..basically a bright white with a slight blue tint to it..So a T5 or T8 fluorescent tube in 6500k

@RydzaKiut i use a aqua glo light and its for fish and plants but you can get a flora glo light for plants.
I use hagen lights

excuse me.. i just want to ask, I want to have live plants in my aquarium. And of course in order to grow the plants, i need the light source. So my questions is which kind of lamp/bulb must I used to have them grow better? is it with the blue light (i dont know if the color is blue or else) or just the normal white color of pendaflour lamp would be okay? thanks
